For those of you that can stream IMDB TV, they have the original unaired pilot titled The Hillbillies of Beverly Hills. It runs several minutes longer, but is essentially the same story.
The first series had the Clampetts driving down the strip and the announcer picthing the sponsor Winston Ciggerates oh dear!
My favorite Hillbilly memory. Elly May is up a tree with a bra tied to a stick, she tells Jed that she's, "...gonna shoot something with this here double-barreled slingshot."
7/12 could have been better. I picked Jethro eating cement in the premier. I thought for sure he would have been smarter than that by the finale. With that 6th grade education and all. The king of guzzentas, you know! 😉😊
