7/10 an episode to die for, die laughing, that is
I've always wondered, how did Andy get to the mountains, Barney had the patrol car. I'm guessing the mountains were within walking distance to Mayberry because the prisoner got there too.
Never occured to me.Good observation. When Malcolm Merriwether first comes to Mayberry and goes to work for Andy. When Malcolm drives Andy to the courthouse, who's car was that?
Seems like in that particular episode with Malcolm, I think Andy says something to Aunt Bee about having someone's car if he needed it.
I'll have to give that episode a closer look,thanks for pointing that out. Malcolm could barely ride a bicycle, wouldn't want him mechanized

Andy has nothing to worry about with good ole reliable deputies Barney and Gomer on the job. So what if they handcuffed each other together...a common mistake. lol 😂
Love that scene Jacki, when they're on Andy's front porch and Gomer reaches for an apple 🍎🍎🍎

At the end of the show Andy says that to Barney. He got rid of Barney so he could get some rest from Barney. When Barney leaves, Andy leans back puts his feet on his desk and opens a National Geographic. 😁

Barney and his maximum security jail. Gomer asks what's maximum security, and Barney says "it's keys in the drawer". ☺️
I really liked the episode with the lady prisoner they had to watch for a little while. Nobody wanted to go home ; )
