Yes, Gayleistoons, believe it or not there are actual lyrics to the opening theme song "The Fishin' Hole" that were written by Everett Sloane (Jubal, Jubal, Jubal) not quite sure how the song itself goes, I know that I've heard it once or twice. U might be able to hear it on u tube or something.

Barney is always funny
Especially when he gets andy almost fired (multiple times) AND andy gets a punch in the eye AND HELLen Frump gets angry at andy (multiple times) AND he interferes with andy and Karen Moore or Mary Simpson (mozzarella pizza)

Poor ol' Barn always getting himself all "boozed up and doesn't even appreciate it. 😂🤣😅 just wondering here, anybody know just how many times Barney got himself imbibed during his 5 year stint? Hmmm 🤔
Just two that I remember. This episode and "Barney and the Governor" where Andy tells Barney that the Governor is coming to Mayberry to shake Barney's hand for doing his duty by giving his car a parking ticket in which Barney replies, "Sure Mike, sure!"
Don't forget about the one episode when he ate the Morrison sisters jam too. It seems like there are more. I'll have to "study" on it 😅🤣😂 for Mayberry being a " dry county" there seemed to be a lot of booze around. Thank you sir.

I like this one also. Andy feels he is responsible for any trouble his son gets in to. Amazing!
