This is one of those episodes where the writers and the director brought out the best in the actors. Don Knotts' was a genius. In this episode we couldn't stand him, in the next episode we love him.

10/10. Once again Andy gets chewed out for being nothing more than a nice guy. Kinda reminds me of me.

8/10. I actually like this episode, Andy takes his dressing down with good grace while Barney’s clueless meddling backfires as usual (although also as usual he appears to learn nothing from it). I like Karen Moore and the shooting competition. Go Annie Oakley.

8/10 Barney should have kept his comments to himself, because his comments made her feel that Andy was doing her a big favor by keeping company with her. No woman wants to feel that way. That's why she was so hurt and angry. I don't care for this episode either. Barney should have thought before he spoke.

Don't think And had it coming to him. It was all "Flap Jaw" Barney's fault. The Sheriff didn't deserve the tongue lashing he received from Karen. Good thing Ang didn't get together with Miss Karen. She turned out to be a real you know what....
