10/10 At least I don't have to be secured to the rostrum.

Anyone else see the connection between Troglytes and troglodytes (prehistoric cave dwellers)?

10/10. Writer David Gerrold ("The Trouble with Tribbles") originally titled this episode as "Castles in the Sky." David was unhappy with the changes that were made to his story that became the broadcast show.
This episode has similar plot elements to the classic 1927 science-fiction film Metropolis by Fritz Lang.
The Stratos guards weapons are the re-used Scalosian weapons from "Wink Of An Eye."
The miners goggles were re-used in Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan for Khan & his people on Ceti Alpha V for the violent dust storms on that planet.

"Centuries ago, Stratos was built by leaders that gave their word... that all inhabitants would live there. The Troglytes are still waiting."
Don't be so high minded.
