Any episode that shows Edith talking back and standing up to Archie are the funniest, in my opinion. Like the other day I saw the one when Edith bought the lottery ticket for Mrs. Jefferson and Archie did not want her to give Louise the ticket but she did anyway.
How can Archie and Mike, locked in the basement, getting drunk not make then list?

The swingers episode was classic. Jean Stapleton made the entire thing with her facial expression upon figuring out what swingers were.
The show featuring Edith and the rapist was All in the Family at it's finest.

The one with Edith going through 'the change' was absolutely hilarious & was just on a few days ago, I laughed all the way through.
I also like the one where Mike kept wanting Gloria to wear that wig she bought & the one where Edith thought she was a "kleppah" (kleptomaniac).
The the end of the episode where Gloria lost the baby & she & Archie have a touching conversation makes me cry every time!

I got 100% similar. I only have a vague recollection of the Sammy Davis episode so I picked just right
That episode is the best
I can recall my parents watching that episode. I can remember them laughing when Sammy kissed Archie. No idea the rest of the show. I did try watching an episode of AITF when METV started the Sunday night run but I just couldn’t get into it. Ten minutes was enough for me.
