Hitchcock's Heroines: A leading lady quiz

Name the actresses in each of these movies.

Alfred Hitchcock's movies often depicted stories of men in distress. But those same movies would be nothing without the dynamic, complex women at their center.

Sure, James Stewart. Cary Grant and Anthony Perkins delivered career-best performances in Hitchcock movies. But the actresses that populated those films are what made them timeless. So let's see how well you recall Hitchcock's leading ladies.

We'll give you a title, you tell us which actress was in it! Seems easy, right? Well, here's hoping! Be sure to share your score and your thoughts in the comments section below!

Hitchcock's Heroines: A leading lady quiz
You got 8 out of 10
You nailed it, without a "Shadow of a Doubt."

Hitchcock had a way of making you feel like you were part of the story, like it was up to you to help solve this mystery. It was so much more than a whodunit. I've never heard anyone refer to any Hitchcock film as a whodunit. That would be an insult. I recall the first time I was watching Vertigo, about half way through, I remember feeling like this is the reason I was put here on earth, to see the rest of this movie.

I got 10/10. Lucky guess on #9 because it was the only movie I haven't seen yet. Great director.

7/10, should have been 8/10, dummied up on one answer.

6 out of 10. The ones I missed are movies I've never seen.

Only 4 out of 10. Considering I haven't seen any of these movies for many years (since Pittsburgh's "Chiller Theater" was on the air - around 1980), that should be about right.

Got eight out of ten and five of those were complete guesses. I know Tippi Hendren was in The Birds and Janet Leigh was in Psycho and Her Serene Highness, Grace of Monaco was in Rear Window. Other than that...
