A few comments: [1] It's easy to guess the wrong song in 4 because NOBODY can boogie to grunge,,,LOL! [2] If you remember Chic, you can easily figure out the gender of the forbidden lover....LOL again! [3] While Gloria Gaynor did sing Never Can Say Goodbye, '70's kids know the Michael Jackson original! They should have chosen I Will Survive because that's the definitive Gaynor song! Fun Fact: it won her the one and only disco Grammy! Yep, that's how quickly disco died!

Grunge. 1/10 Nope. No very little about that. I lie some of Nirvanas' tracks and Pearl Jam. But except for Evenflow I can't name any others. Oh noo

Is this MTV or METV ? What does this have to do with classic TV ?
Zip Step79 2 months ago
I see what you are saying, and I used to think like that too, until I found out that the "ME" in METV stood for "Memorable Entertainment."

I guess to some, the music is memorable. To others, it's a Blur.

Well we all know MTV has become an oxymoron! They have video music awards followed by 364 days of bad reality shows...LOL!

PS the only way people even noticed there were VMAs this year was when they postponed it for the debate! Ironically, it played on the anniversary of a national disaster!

8 out of 10. Better than I figured although I listened to most of these bands back in the day. Even played some of these songs on stage with a house-cover band back in the early/mid 90s. Except Hole, not a fan,

6/10 some of these groups I never heard of. They are not from the seventies. 🤣
