Is it Pink Floyd or The Doors?
The Dark Side of the Morrison Hotel.
Two titans of classic rock, each from opposite sides of the Atlantic.
In one corner, the psychedelic, operatic Pink Floyd, authors of such masterpieces as "Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall." From their avant-garde beginnings to their colossal concept albums, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, and Pink Floyd carved their names into the tablet of rock 'n roll eternity.
The Doors are one of the most provocative bands in American history. With lyrics like poetry and a stage show like nothing before or since, Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore changed the course of rock music, adding artistry and a drunken stagger.
If you like them both, then you're in luck! They're both fantastic bands. And if you're a fanatic of one, then the process of elimination is on your side. So let us know how you did, and tell us if we missed your favorite tune. Don't worry: We'll start with some easy ones so you get the hang of it.
