Is this the name of a real girl group or did we make it up?
Girl power!
SOFA Entertainment, Inc.
Girl groups are the foundation of our musical society, and no, we won't be taking any arguments against this. In this quiz, we'll give you a name, and you have to tell us if it's the name of an actual girl group, or if we were being a little silly and just made the whole thing up.

9 of 10. How could there not be a group called "The Dreamers"?
METV got The Dreamers wrong. There really was a short-lived girl doo-wop group in the 1950s called The Dreamers. They did not have any solo hits and were primarily backup singers. Many of you may know the often-used backup singing group The Blossoms (they sang with Elvis during the Vegas years!). The Blossoms had been The Dreamers in the 1950s.

Wouldn't you know it? Just a day or so after this quiz comes up, I find out about a girl group from Monterey in Mexico called The Warning, who first got noticed ten years ago with a YouTube video where they covered Metallica's "Enter Sandman". At the time, the lead singer was 13 years old, the drummer was 11, and the bass player was 8.
And this is what it looked like:

They are. Early on they appeared on Ellen DeGeneres's show and Ellen (along with Target) presented them each with $10,000 checks to attend Berklee College of Music.
