Only a TV genius can tell the difference between a soap opera and a game show

Try to tell the difference by title alone.

If you stayed home sick from school at any point in the 1950s or 1960s, you have a distinct advantage in this quiz. Otherwise, you'll have to use your keen TV senses to tell the difference between a soap opera and a game show. Look at the font and pick what feels right.

The following titles all aired on network television during the daytime at some point in the Fifties and Sixties. The midday schedule was stuffed with quiz shows and romance, so good luck telling them apart.
  1. The Secret Storm
  2. Queen for a Day
  3. Seven Keys
  4. Chain Letter
  5. Love of Life
  6. Full Circle
  7. For Love or Money
  8. People Will Talk
  9. Everybody's Talking
  10. The Young Marrieds
  11. It Could Be You
  12. Moment of Truth
  13. Snap Judgement
  14. Double Exposure
  15. For Better or Worse
  16. Never Too Young
  17. The Jan Murray Show

See? It's harder than it seems, right? Did you watch any of these shows? Share your memories in the comments.

15 out of 17. All guesses since I was about five years old when these shows first aired.

7 KEYS spent too much time describing prizes in detail that they ran out of time for 2nd contestant ending show with "Can you come back tomorrow?" and not enough time for the game. ♣
