Pick: What would you watch on TV in 1989?
It's Griffith vs. Shatner.
As the 1980s faded into the 1990s, our TVs were still working overtime to introduce us to memorable characters. It was a year when sitcoms and dramas alike embraced more experimental concepts, seasoned TV actors swapped genres or turned into TV hosts, and Saturday Night Live proved that Blues Brothers was no one-trick pony, as the sketch show launched yet another mega movie hit.

The hardest was choosing between Pooh/Gummi Bears and Muppet Babies (went with the former.)
Doogie vs. Night Court and ItHotN vs. Coach were just a tad tricky.

47% Similar. I had trouble picking for #6 because I wouldn't watch ANY of them, so I had to pick the lesser of 3 evils.
Anyone who answered Nightline or The Pat Sajak Show for #10 was watching them on the VCR, because neither show aired on Saturdays.
I really don't understand all of the 'ALF' stuff on these Quiz Questions. I did not watch that stupid, childish show and I know of NO ONE else who did.
2 big mistakes here: On Question 3, 2 of the choices were hour shows that started at 9, so Roseanne would have been the show to represent ABC. On Question 10, Pat Sajak and Nightline didn't run on Saturday, so they should have been matched up with Johnny Carson!
Cheers was the only show I watched that was given as a choice. Most of these I never heard of or did not care for at all.
