Even though I've always enjoyed The Little Drummer Boy and like the Christian aspect of it, the story can be somewhat plodding and dull.
For these I picked Rudolph. It has the right amount of good story, action, and tender moments, plus some fine songs, to keep any kid(and adult kid) entertained.

I picked "Rudolph." It's the one I remember watching the most from a very early age. That being said, I really like a lot of these other ones, too. 😊

I knew it! I knew most people would pick that!

100% similar. Rudolph! Just watched it last night.
I watched it too! It's so nostalgic for me. Something that I looked forward to every year. When it was over my brother and I would look at each other and say "Now we have to wait a whole year to see it again!" ☹️

After my brothers and I watched it, we would want to go outside and pretend to run from the "Bumble." We lived out in the country then so it was extra spooky. Ah, good times.

Great memory! 😄 He used to scare me when they would show his face up close, all fangs and wild hair! 😨

Oh, I have to mention, one thing that has aways bugged me is when Rudolph leaves the house in the middle of the night and doesn't close the door! I suppose with stop motion there may have been a reason for this, but c'mon....your friends are going to freeze! 🥶

I chose Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer from 1964 because it is an original animated Christmas special from Rankin/Bass. It's the first of a series of specials and Burl Ives told the story so beautifully. It's stood the test of time.

Can't believe A Charlie Brown Christmas wasn't on the list.

Oh, now I see, only Rankin/Bass Christmas shows were the choices.

That would be my first choice if it were a quiz about any Christmas special.
BTW, I thought the same thing too about it not being on the list. Then I remembered the Rankin/Bass matter.

I went with the obvious choice and picked Rudolph.

As long as we're still on a Rankin/Bass tear here, here's another bonus question for you all.

Who is this character and what show did he appear in?

Hmm…🤔 Does not look familiar.

100% similar. I picked Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer of course. But If " A Charlie Brown Christmas" would have been one of the choices that would have been my pick.

I remember sitting and waiting the entire year for my one shot to watch Rudolph. Honorable mention to The Little Drummer Boy. It is rarely seen these days.
I have not seen The Little Drummer Boy on network tv in many years.
I said something similar above. I'd be so excited to see it, but sad when it was over. And heaven forbid if your family had plans and you weren't going to be home that night! 😫
I like the little drummer boy too. The first time I saw it I bawled my eyes out when his little lamb got hurt. Of course, I also cried when Frosty melted. 😭

My sentiments exactly! I bought the dvd of The lIttle Drummer Boy when I saw it in a store once.
