I have a strong, sentimental attachment to #2 all-time The Christmas Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)" from 1958.
There was never a better year in U.S. history than that one, peace (no dumb, wasteful foreign wars), no riots, no impeachments, increasing prosperity (the dollar was a fixed weight of gold at $35/oz.). And the year had the greatest fads (Hula Hoop) and 3 novelty songs: the above, plus #1 all-time "Purple People Eater" (Sheb Wooley; then on Rawhide--along with a young Clint Eastwood), and the earlier Chipmunks' (related) hit, #4 all-time "Witch Doctor" (David Seville--> Ross Bagsdasarian, voice of D.S.), plus "Yakety Yak" by The Coasters, #16 all-time "Beep Beep" by The Playmates, plus other minor novelty tunes, as is #99 all-time "Delcious" by Jim Backus ["Thurston Howell III" on 'Gilligan's Island" 1964-67] and Friend! No doubt, 1958 was one of the greatest years in the 247 years (1776) of the U.S.! https://www.waybackattack.com/top100-noveltyhits.html

They didn't even have my choice for my favorite Christmas song.
"Father Christmas"
by Emerson, Lake & Palmer

Too many good ones, can't pick jist one
Surprised they didn't throw in "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" for a comedic offering. 🦌

I chose O Holy Night, also like Bing & David Bowie duet of Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth. 12 Pains of Christmas is fun.
Picked O' Holy Night and got 100% similar! I LOVE that song, but my actual favorites are O Come All Ye Faithful and O Come O Come Emmanuel and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. I love basically all those songs on the list! Christmas music is great!
This depends on who's singing the song. The remakes of almost all theses songs are just terrible, makes me cringe when I hear them.
I think I've provided my #1 more than once. Re-repeating...

Left out two of the biggest ones, and my two favorites- Nat King Cole 'The Christmas Song' and Mel Torme 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'.
I picked O’ Holy Night, but, Silent Night was just edged out by a smidgen.
Smidgen ……., now that’s a funny word.

A bird that got run over by a lawn mower? Shredded Tweet. I know, not in good taste (literally) I don’t know what came over me
None of the above. I like Carol of The Bells and the Hallelujah Chorus.
O' Holy Night is my fave.
I especially like when it is sung well and especially when it gets to the "fall on your knees" part. It can make me teary-eyed and makes me humble real quick.
