The latest example is the Magnum PI reboot which went from CBS to NBC, new
episodes start Feb. 19, this Sunday. Last year it finally found it's way, ditching all
the mass firefights nonsense. The star apparently had major input into making
it better - the fool producer Lenkov is long gone - and hopefully the 5th season
will be a rebirth. I assume there will be a nod to the now deceased original TC.
Only trifecta that I can think of offhand in modern times; back in the Early Days, Arthur and Kathryn Murray's Dancing Party did four networks, including DuMont - but I'm the only one here old enough to remember that ...
