Who said it: Wally or Beaver?

Which Cleaver kid said these classic quotes?

Gee, there were some funny lines on Leave it to Beaver!

Beaver sure had a way with words, even if it wasn’t always the right way. And Wally never passed up a chance to “give him the business.”

But in the end, these two classic TV brothers always had each other’s backs, whether facing bullies or Mr. Cleaver’s disapproving stare.

Here are 12 funny and heartwarming lines from Leave it to Beaver. Can you guess who said each one?

Watch Leave It to Beaver on MeTV!

Weekdays at 8 & 8:30 AM, Sundays at 1 & 1:30 PM

*available in most MeTV markets
  1. “Sometimes things get so messed up, crying is the only thing you can do.”
  2. “I guess girls stop making you sick just about the same time baths stop making you sick.”
  3. “We can't just say we're going to be friends. We gotta have an agreement or something.”
  4. “You look like that time you ate all those rotten eclairs you found in the trash behind the supermarket.”
  5. “Gee, Dad. Would you mind yelling at him yourself? I’ve got a lot of homework to do.”
  6. “I can look funny if I want to.”
  7. “If you were a father and you had a kid, you’d like it if the kid liked you.”
  8. “Gee, Dad, I have enough trouble keeping myself good without keeping all the other kids good.”
  9. “How come whenever parents do anything nice, they always wonder if they’re doing the right thing?”
  10. “Look, I’m only helping you ’cause if dad gets mad at you, he always winds up getting mad at me.”
  11. “I'd rather do nothing with you than something with anybody else.”
  12. “If he tells you I called him an anthropoid, it’s nothing bad. You don’t have to look it up or anything. It just means ape.”

Friday Night Movie Quiz-08-05-2022

One of those movies that were caught up in the times. Then once seen they wonder why they never either heard of it or seen it. One of those I've seen a murder but nobody believes me. This has a rating around 7.5 and happy to have found it. Now you need to figure out what it is and guess it.
The male star which plays the husband in this had a nice long career run. Along with 5 nominations for an Oscar. Never winning one though. The wife played by a well known actress which after was seen mostly on TV shows, series. One on a long, long run which we see on MeTV today. She had a long life and just passed away about 5 years ago. The other star a child in this has something to tell but no one believes him. This is probably the child's best movie other then a Disney Movie character he played a few years later. Six years after this movie he was out of the cinema entertainment business. Tragically he passed away a few years later as a homeless person.
The movie is well done and keeps your attention. You might feel some of the characters thoughts and caught up in the moment. Drama-Film-Noir-Thriller
