Yes/No: Do these shows have a ''Christmas Story'' episode?

A Christmas Story goes far beyond the classic movie title, as several television shows dubbed their holiday episodes that exact title or something similar.

As holiday traditions begin to form once again all across the nation, we are taking care of all of your classic TV Christmas programming, with A Very Merry MeTV schedule

Timeless holiday tropes, snow, Christmas trees and presents are all over our screens! Often times, a holiday was a great way for shows to take a side-step from a traditional episode and do something different to relate to viewers a little better during the holiday season.

As a result, episode titles tend to lean into the holiday spirit too, with a very common one being some variation of "Christmas Story."

Below are several series that have holiday and Christmas episodes in their respective lineups. It's up to you to decide if "Christmas Story" is featured anywhere in one of those episodes!

For this quiz, any title containing "Christmas Story" counts, whether other words come before or after!

* That DRAGNET "A Christmas Story" was done in a 1950's B&W episode and was then remade in a 1960's color episode. Actually done twice!

5/10. Sign me up with those who misread/misunderstood the question but i don't think it would have made a difference for me.

8/10 Of course I did not read the story properly before I started answering. I thought they meant was there a Christmas episode. 🤪

I did the same

3 of 10... Here goes the "Walk of Shame" and a sock full of coal!
Coldnorth RobertK 8 months ago
In some parts of the country, the coal is pretty expensive and valuable

Six. Per usual I didn't read the instructions.

Same here, but I don't think it would have made any difference for me.

You got 8 out of 10. Are you going to "Cheers" to this Christmas Story score?

All guesses. I missed #1 and #7. The only one I was confident about was "Wagon Train". I've only seen a person's name in their titles.

8 out of 10 correct. Missed # 4 and 10.

7/10! Missed 2, 8, & 9! And I should have gotten 8 since every Wagon Train is named for its main guest star!

4/10. This was hard, at least for me.

3/10. I clearly misread the question.

A bunch of misread too.

On #6, Dragnet a "Christmas Story" episode, from season two referenced here is a remake (almost line for line and shot for shot) of "The Big Little Jesus" from season 3 of the 1950s "Dragnet" series. It even has some of the same guest stars in the same roles.
cperrynaples CaptainDunsel 16 months ago
Yes, they both dealt with the theft of a Nativity scene!
Big3Fan CaptainDunsel 16 months ago
Dragnet also did a radio version of the same story.
CaptainDunsel Big3Fan 16 months ago
Cool. Thanks - I did not know that.
MrsPhilHarris Big3Fan 16 months ago
I was just go to say that!
