A real-life Love Boat cruise sets sail Summer 2024

Finally, it's the oceanic escape television fans have been waiting for. A real-life Love-Boat-themed cruise is ready to take you away from August 31st to September 7th, 2024. How's this for authenticity: The vacation package is presented by Princess Cruises, the same company that was featured in the iconic '70s sitcom!
According to Variety, "Love Boat cast members confirmed to be in attendance include Bernie Kopell (Doc), Fred Grandy (Gopher), and Ted Lange (Isaac)." But that's not all! Princess Cruises promises other surprise guests to be announced. After all, what's an episode of The Love Boat without a cast of incredible guest stars? The show was a veritable who's who of Hollywood heavy hitters, so there's no telling what celebrities might be on board!
“We had such a blast connecting with fans on our theme cruise in 2022, so bringing it back in 2024 feels like it was meant to be, especially with the addition of some surprise guests,” said Jill Whelan, Celebrations Ambassador for Princess Cruises.
“Sailing with our fans brings us so much joy and this cruise will undoubtedly be a special reunion, taking us back to where it all began – on a Princess Cruise.”
In addition to rubbing elbows with some actors from the show, the cruise promises a packed itinerary full of themed experiences. There's a sail-away party that introduces the cast and guest stars. There are meet-and-greet photo and autograph opportunities. You can ask some decades-long unanswered questions at a cast Q&A. There will be trivia, show screenings, and specialty cocktails. Oh, and let's not forget the vow renewal ceremonies officiated by the real cast of the show!
