Anson Williams had a Happy Days reunion at his wedding
Williams had a very special best man at his wedding ceremony.
It's always good to catch up with friends, but as we get older, our lives become more complicated. There's work to be done, bills to pay, and sometimes seeing your loved ones fall by the wayside.
Luckily, when we're able to make time, there are moments when we are more than happy to reconnect with friends.
Anson Williams, best known for playing Potsie Williams on Happy Days, was able to reunite with his close friend and former costar on an incredibly momentous occasion.
In 2023, Williams married writer and real estate broker Sharon MaHarry. At seventy-three years old, Williams and MaHarry wanted their wedding to be a small and intimate affair, keeping the wedding at their home.
"Let's make it a wedding just where it's about togetherness with our friends," Williams said during an interview with PEOPLE. "It's not over the top, but at the same time, it's memorable and special."
While the couple was interested in a small ceremony, there were some disadvantages to a wedding held at home. "I tell people, 'It's wonderful. Don't ever do it," Williams said. "You have no idea the complexity that happens."
But the wedding was beautiful, at least in part thanks to the attendees. Williams' former costar, Don Most, served as the best man, meaning that this wedding was also a mini-Happy Days reunion. Most acted alongside Williams in Happy Days, playing Ralph Malph.
Williams' bride called Most her husband's "best friend," proving that even after all these years, the two boys are still just as close as they were on our television sets.
