She's mostly known as Charlene Darling, the daughter of Briscoe, who had heart-eyes for Andy Taylor on The Andy Griffith Show.

However, Maggie Peterson was a country/bluegrass musician who performed at various resort areas. She was also signed to Capitol Records and was an opening act for Andy Griffith in Lake Tahoe in 1968.

Although her musical talent was undeniable, so were her acting skills. Working with Andy Griffith and Don Knotts on TAGS was great, but appearing in movies with the two talented individuals was even better.

In 1969, Peterson appeared in two movies, Angel in My Pocket (starring Andy Griffith) and The Love God? (starring Don Knotts).

Angel in My Pocket is a star-studded American comedy film distributed by Universal Pictures. Peterson played Mrs. Toback, the wife of Harry Toback (Richard Van Vleet).

It focused on the life of an ex-Marine turned preacher, Samuel D. Whitehead (Andy Griffith). He moves his family to a small town where he finds himself attempting to win the support and trust of his new congregation. Lee Meriwether, Jerry Van Dyke, Edgar Buchanan, and Ellen Corby were also in this movie.

Peterson's role in Don Knotts' movie, The Love God?, was slightly different from her character Mrs. Toback. She played Rose Ellen Wilkerson, an innocent girl, somewhat like Charlene Darling, without the mountain-style traditions. In this movie, the world sees Don Knotts as Hugh Hefner, but in a comedic way.

He's the publisher of a bird-watcher magazine, and it gets turned into a "girly mag." That's when things turn crazy. Her roles in both films might not have been significant, but they did add something to make them complete.

Peterson went on to star in a few TV movies throughout her career, and although she played them all, everyone loved her as Charlene Darling.

Just not quite sure why you need someone to find out information for you? Is that in addition to your research? (Meaning your still actively researching it?) As you seemed quite determined in your mission.

Good luck. You may find something or you may find nothing. It depends on what those individuals have shared. When your searching pay attention to the timestamp on any articles, some may be from years ago, meaning their is no current information/ activity about those celebrities.
