Susan Olsen had a crush on her on-screen sibling during the filming of The Brady Bunch
"I had two thousand various crushes on him," said Olsen.
Being famous in Hollywood doesn't always mean you're guaranteed fame in real life, especially if you're a child actor. Kids can already be cruel, and although Susan Olsen was loved by most Americans when she was Cindy Brady, her childhood classmates didn't share that same adoration.
"There were some problems at school," said Olsen in an interview with The Age. "Some kids expected me to have an attitude or be stuck-up, and they were jealous."
In one instance, the bullying actually evolved into physical violence, as Olsen recounted. "I remember there was this big boy who used to throw balls at me which often hit me in the head. My mum said, 'He must have a crush on you,' and I'd say 'No, mum, he hates me.'"
Luckily, there was no shortage of love for Olsen on the set of The Brady Bunch from her costars.
"The Brady Bunch was like a second family," she said. "There was a lot of love from all around."
In fact, Olsen revealed that she actually had a crush on her on-screen sibling, Mike Lookinland, who played Bobby Brady.
"My favorite was Mike Lookinland," she said. "I had two thousand various crushes on him. We never even French-kissed. We were only seven and we would go hug in the dark and say 'I love you.'"
