Watch a guitarist play 100 TV theme songs in 11 minutes
Reverb, an online marketplace for music equipment, had Chicago guitarist Joe Shadid sit down and shred through 60 years of classic television tunes, from "The Lone Ranger" to "Game of Thrones."
With a bright green Nash guitar that would be at home in Donna Reed's kitchen, Shadid covers just about every MeTV show in the 11-minute session. It's fantastic. He even tosses his hat into the air at the close of "The Mary Tyler Moore" theme. Check it out.
Which theme song was your favorite? We're particularly fond of Peter Gunn, as it's just meant to make a guitar sound cool. Did he overlook any classic?
