Here's a collection that would impress just about anyone — especially Cher.

Sep. 11, 2023

As a child, Robyn Fisher would watch The Sonny and Cher Show each week, and eventually, she blossomed into the ultimate superfan. After years of being Cher's number one fan, Robyn has created a massive collection of memorabilia dedicated to the diva herself: Cher.

From her music to her movies; This massive collection spans decades and covers Cher's entire career from 1965 to now. Her collection includes iconic pieces such as the mermaid tail from Mermaids (1990), a pair of dazzling concert-worn earrings designed by Bob Mackie, and much more.

Cher is one of Robyn's biggest inspirations. She admires Cher for her independence, kindness, and the way she fights for what she believes in.  Robyn has instilled these same traits in her daughter, who has been involved with her mom's Cher collection since childhood.

Let's take a look at this incredibly iconic collection dedicated to the icon herself. Enjoy!

1. Zodiac Dress

This Zodiac dress was one of Robyn's first big purchases. She found this item during an online auction and knew she had to have it.

Robyn believes that the Ram on the dress represents Cher's astrology sign: Taurus. Her dad framed this piece and became skilled at preserving Robyn's precious pieces.

This item is only increasing in value through time. Cher is timeless after all. This piece was designed by Bob Mackie, making it even more rare to own.

Today this dress would be worth around $6,000. All she needs is a Cher autograph to go along with it. Come on, Cher!

2. Bob Mackie earrings and design

Robyn found this item through our expert and former collector, Marcia. This piece comes with an original sketch signed by Bob Mackie and a pair of beautiful earrings worn by Cher.

Robyn even remembers the moment when Cher wore the earrings onstage in concert! Robyn had never tried on the earrings, but Lisa did! What did you think of that iconic moment from the show?

This item would be worth around $20,000 today, but for Robyn, Cher is priceless.

3. The Witches of Eastwick costume

This is another costume that Robyn was able to find from our expert Marcia! This costume is from the 1987 film The Witches of Eastwick.

She even has a signed photo featuring Cher and all her castmates. This iconic piece comes from a very memorable scene in the film, making it even more rare to see today.

Today this item would be worth around $12,000.

4. Sonny Bono's suit

This is a Sonny Bono suit from The Sonny and Cher Show. Robyn bought this piece at Disney World after seeing a store packed with items from the show.

This has got to be one of the only Disney World trips were a store was more exciting than the park itself!

It paid off for Robyn because she ended up with this iconic piece and a few others. It was even designed by Bob Mackie.

This item is worth $2,500 today.

5. Mermaids costume

This is an iconic piece from the film Mermaids (1990). You may remember this piece from one very memorable scene in which the tail gets stuck in the side of a car door.

This costume is a screen-used piece, but the amount of screen time it received in the film is the reason it's worth so much today.

This item would be worth around $15,000 today.

6. Love Hurts Tour coat

This incredible jacket came straight from the 1991 Love Hurts Tour. It was a piece worn by Cher herself onstage during the tour. This was Robyn's very first Cher concert, so it's very special for her.

According to Robyn, it's very difficult to find a mannequin in Cher's size. Most of the mannequin models aren't small enough and some costumes are hard to place.

These outfits are also very heavy. This piece is made from leather and features a beautiful design on the back. According to Robyn, some of the outfits Cher wore probably weighed more than she did!

This jacket is autographed by Cher, making it even more special for Robyn.

Today this item would be worth around $12,000.

Just a minor observation--yes, the zodiac dress is beautiful, but the Ram symbolizes Aries, which is mid-March to mid-April. Taurus (mid-April to mid-May) is the bull. And we are stubborn as all get-out if you push us too hard. (May also charge head down, horns out if you're not careful...)

Myself, I am a blue jeans and cool-graphic t-shirt sort, accept when I attend funerals. I still look dashing in one of my old suits. Style-wise, I am dialed up to eleven!

A good episode. Long time fan of Cher. Been to many of her concerts. Remember one in particular
during her " Believe Tour" where she was feeling a bit under the weather and explained that to the audience at the beginning of her show. You would never have known as she delivered a stellar performance. Even though she has many critics, she speaks her mind and advocates her beliefs.
Enjoyed her in:
" Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again"
