You can now ask classic TV stars to send a personalized message to your friends and family
Care to get a personal message from Greg Brady?
How groovy would it be if Greg Brady called you up and told you just how far out you are? It's now completely possible to make these kinds of dreams a reality.
Cameo is a new way to send the special folks in your life a few words from some very special folks.
According to the Cameo FAQ page, "Cameo operates the CAMEO™ Marketplace — through our website and app — that lets fans book a personalized video shout-out — a CAMEO video — from their favorite talent. Our mission is to create the most personalized and authentic fan experiences in the world."
In other words, you pay a celebrity a little money and they record a video for you.
It's a pretty easy process to follow. Once you find your celebrity, you can book a video by selecting "Book now for $--" (each celebrity has customized pricing visible on their profile).
We scoured the site and were excited to find some MeTV stars available for hire with just a click of a button!
1. Barry Williams, The Brady Bunch
Longtime MeTV partner and eldest Brady boy Barry Williams is currently available on the website! Described on the site as "America’s most reliable big brother," Williams can pour on that Greg Brady charm for any kind of note you'd like. The best part? Proceeds from the video go to the (RED) charity to fight AIDS. Now that is big brotherly.
2. Jamie Farr, M*A*S*H
Care to get a greeting from Maxwell Q. Klinger himself? Farr's current portfolio includes plenty of birthday greetings and even a personal note to a fan who's father served in WWII and watched M*A*S*H with his daughter. No search for psychiatric discharge here; Farr is ready to wish you and yours well.
3. John Ratzenberger, Cheers
