70% What in the name of Tweety Pie is Peppermint Bark ? 🤯🙃
It’s crushed candy cane on layers of white and dark chocolate squares. There are two popular brands, Ghirardelli and Williams Sonoma!
70% A little surprised that Peppermint Bark isn't more popular. I'm not a fan of chocolate and I don't eat candy canes, but combined, it's amazing...will never understand the minced pie thing.
Yes to all! Even the goose, which I've never had, but I would at least give it a shot. And egg nog too, even though it wasn't listed. Just make sure it's the real thing, not that fake holiday nog.
80%, but you people are mixed up on fruitcake. It's an iconic food.
I had to mark "hate it" because the only fruitcake I enjoyed was my father-in-law's. His was SO good. Sadly, he never wrote down the recipe, so when he died, the recipe went with him.
I've had good and bad fruitcake. The best was my grandmothers, she soaked it in Old Grand Dad whiskey.
Surprised Christmas goose got such low ratings. Obviously, from folks that never had it. It's a German tradition and my Mom made the tastiest goose ever including in-the-bird stuffing. I remember the first time I invited my boyfriend (now husband) over and he had a piece of meat (goose is all dark meat) on his fork trying not to be obvious he was sniffing it before trying. Needless to say, he wound up with 2 or 3 helpings and never questioned Mom's cooking with a "sniff test" again.
