Missed last one as I thought The Gunslinger was the last.
The Gunslinger was the last one filmed, but was aired second-to-last on May 25, 1966. The Last Chapter was the last one aired (as a clip show) on June 1, 1966, but filmed before The Gunslinger.

I've got two unanswered questionsn about the Dick Van Dyke Show, and maybe the folks here can clear them up.

(1) Mel Cooley was Alan Brady's brother-in-law. This is pointed out many times. But was Alan married to Mel's sister, or did Mel marry Alan's? Seems to me there are episodes that have it each way.

(2) Did we ever hear the voice of receptionist "Marge"? One episode (with guest star Richard Dawson) reveals that she's blonde, but that's about the only description of her appearance. But I think we hear her the time Rob replaces Mel as producer and he has trouble working the intercom in Mel's office.

Hi,
daDoctah is right. On different episodes it was explained that Mel was married to
Alan Brady's sister, but in another it had it Alan married Mel's sister. This happens on long
running series, newer writers forget to consult the show's "Bible"(history) and the cast
members don't remember all the details either.
