 The Everett Collection

1985 is so much more than a Bowling for Soup song. It was a year for big blockbusters, the beginning of franchises, the continuance of franchises, and classics that we still watch today.

Can you identify the highest-grossing movies of 1985 just by a few of the names from the credits?

  1. Sylvester Stallone, Charles Napier, Martin Kove
  2. Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg, Margaret Avery
  3. Meryl Streep, Robert Redford, Michael Kitchen
  4. Sylvester Stallone, Carl Weathers, Dolph Lundgren
  5. Wilford Brimley, Brian Dennehy, Steve Guttenberg
  6. Kathleen Turner, Danny DeVito, Spiros Focás
  7. Christopher Lloyd, Crispin Glover, Thomas F. Wilson
  8. Harrison Ford, Danny Glover, Viggo Mortensen
  9. Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Ke Huy Quan
  10. Dan Aykroyd, Donna Dixon, Steve Forrest

Gnarly! You got 7 out of 10 - Considering I missed 3 of the first 4 but nailed the last 6 (with a little educated guessing along the way), I will definitely take it.

4/10 I follow TV more than movies. That is why I watch METV.

4/10 I was on a hot streak with the first 5 questions but got most wrong on the last 5. I saw less than half of the movies on the survey either at the theater, re-released at the theater, or on home video.

5 of 10. "Looks like you really had to search for these answers". I did not use Wiki. If I had I would have done better lol. A couple were a toss up for me between two answers and of course I picked the wrong one.
