My favourite is when he voiced a dog alongside Joe E. Ross (Guenther Toody) in a cartoon "Hong Kong Phooey"

He voiced "Scat Cat" in The Aristocats. Likely the first time I saw or heard him.

So I've read.

I started watching Aristocats earlier, and saw his name in the credits.

7/8 - that episode of "Kolchak" (about a zombie) is one of the best in the series - second only to "Horror in the Heights" IMO.

5/8. What's with that wig in #8? Did they really need a character with hair for that scene?

7/8. A very talented actor. My best memory of him was an episode of "Chico" where Sammy Davis guest starred. At the end of the show, Davis, Jack Albertson and Crothers all joined in to do a soft shoe dance. It was great! And all Freddie Prinze could do was look on in awe. And don't forget the horrible death Scatman received in "The Shining".

They left out Chico & the Man, the one I was especially looking out for. Maybe it's because of the tragic history of that show.

Nobody shows that anymore.

Yes, Freddie Prinze committed suicide! His son Freddie Jr. still works!

Unfortunately it's not popular ( in the eyes of distributors). They did do a DVD release of the show back in the early 2000's and it did poorly, that's probably why it's not shown anymore.

When Robin Williams committed suicide, I wondered how his last TV co-star, Sarah Michelle Gellar in "The Crazy Ones", felt about it in relation to the fact that her father-in-law (whom she never met because he died before she was born) left us under similar circumstances.
