Missed No 5 Mariah Carey - NONE of those songs sounded the least bit familiar

I was blown away the first time I heard Whitney Houston, immediately becoming a big fan.
For several years no one could compare to her and I did not pay much attention to other female singers.
When Mariah Carey came along, she too wowed me. Her 5-octave vocal range obviously topped Houston.
But I still preferred Houston, until she got messed up and ruined her voice.
Thankfully, Carey is still here and still has a great voice.

10/10 Thank you, MeTV, for not making Dolly Parton the first choice on #10 or I might have jumped the gun and ruined my perfect score! 😜
