8 out of 10. I absolutely loved watching The Monkees as a kid!!

7/10
I would say not bad for all guesses. I had "inklings" about a lot of them, but wasn't totally sure on any of them. Even though I thought it was a funny show, The Monkees wasn't one of the shows I watched incessantly.

50/50 not proud. My favorite Monkee was Mike. Must have been his hat

6/10 I guess instead of The Monkees, I belong in The Flunkees.

7/10 Looks like I need to watch the Monkees again, soon...like this Sunday. I see by some comments here and the other Monkee quiz, theirs some die hard expert Monkees fans. Used to watch the show in 67 or 68 after school on Mon, Wed and Friday's...and of course on MeTV.

Got 8/10 which is pretty good for someone who hasn't watched the show in decades. Trivia-The Jimi Hendrix Experience opened a few shows for The Monkees until parents saw Jimi's stage performance/antics. LOL Charles Manson tried out for The Monkees.

Also because of Davy Jones, pop/rock singer David Jones changed his name to David Bowie.

Absolute BS, Charlie (Manson) was in prison from 1961-March 21, 1967; don't think he was given a (good behavior) weekend furlough for a 1965 Monkees audition...check the facts!

No Manson didn’t try out…that’s a rumor that Micky started. And he was joking when he said it

I believe Manson wanted to be a Beach Boy. 😊

You’re right, sort of. Manson was a friend of Dennis Wilson and got him to get Terry Melcher (Doris Day’s son), to listen to one of Manson’s songs.
Melcher wasn’t interested and Manson wasn’t happy. That’s why the family attacked the house Melcher owned in the hills; he thought Melcher was there. The rest is history.

* Some of us watched Monkees on B&W TV's & didn't know those color questions! ☺
