Robert Conrad's "Mission Impossible" episode later served as the script used for the first installment of the 1980s revival of the series, with John DeLancie taking that role.

I missed question 6, I had forgotten that Conrad was on Adam-12 as a DA in a courtroom scene.
It seemed like a potential spin off attempt.
I do recall night the first episode premiered as NBC had heavily promoted it all summer and the
shots of the cars racing along the Los Angeles "River" fascinated me.
I don't know where it placed in the ratings that week but ALL the kids were talking about
this exciting new TV series that featured "Tod" from Route 66.
