It's common for many successful actors to appear on various sitcoms throughout their careers. Dan Blocker is one of those actors who took advantage of his talents and created a long list of television appearances. We know him as Hoss Cartwright from the Western series Bonanza. He was a gentle giant on the show and in real life.

Being on a major show for over a decade can overshadow other roles. Yet, true fans tend to remember when their favorite actor's face was also seen on other productions. Did Dan Blocker make an appearance on these shows?

10/10...I just stuck to the fact that he did more westerns, but I could see Blocker doing an episode on Alfred Hitchcock Presents though.

Me neither. I've heard of the restless leg, but that is a whole other animal.

8/10
Not bad for total guesswork. He is one of those actors that I honestly don't remember in anything except the show that made them famous.
Now, I remember his son Dirk, as a regular on Black Sheep Squadron and on an episode of Little House on the Prairie.

Dirk also made a guest appearance on an episode of M*A*S*H.

Did Dan Blocker ever appear on The Virginian? Yes, but on a technicallity! He was in the 1958 pilot with James Drury, but he had no lines and no credit!

All his appearances were in Westerns. I guess he had his own horse.

Hi,
Dan was on a Richard Diamond episode. This coming January 16th marks the 50th
anniversary of Bonanza's last episode, I remember watching it.

9/10. Got #7 wrong. Most of my answers were guesses. A lot of his appearances seemed to be westerns.
