I love the series overall. But while this episode is pretty good, it's not one of my favorites. It feels a bit contrived as a "special" Christmas episode. Too many disasters all happen at the same time. Interesting side note: this episode is one of the very few that does NOT end with everyone in their beds saying goodnight to each other. (I can only think of one other. Anyone know if there were more?)

Glad that MeTV chose to highlight "The Walton's" for their Sunday/Christmas Block. The series doesn't get a lot of attention, but is a great show. Hopefully it remains on MeTV's Schedule.🎄🎄
