Happy New Years All--
Like so many of my generation, Sullivan was a weekly ritual. Of course I'll always remember him for bringing us the Beatles, but so many great comics did their bits on his show. The great thing about Sullivan, IMO, is that you might see a comic, an opera singer, a Broadway star, a rocker, and an acrobat all in the same night. No other "variety show" could match his eclectic mix of talent.
I don’t remember the guests on The Ed Sullivan show that well, but, I will be OK
with my guesses.
I remember some, but, I was born in November of 1957, so ………,., whatever.
It was a REALLY BIG SHOW !
