The more I read the more confused I am. I am not one for conspiracy theories. They take way too much work and way too many people and are usually so far fetched and ridiculous. The simplest answer is usually the correct one, but this situation makes me wonder if she did find out something or was getting close and someone got nervous. You are correct though, almost everyone involved is long gone. It will likely never be solved.

I hear Ed Sullivan didn't think Charlie Brill and Mitzi McCall were funny. They appeared on the same episode as the Beatles' first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

Like so many of my generation, Sullivan was a weekly ritual. Of course I'll always remember him for bringing us the Beatles, but so many great comics did their bits on his show. The great thing about Sullivan, IMO, is that you might see a comic, an opera singer, a Broadway star, a rocker, and an acrobat all in the same night. No other "variety show" could match his eclectic mix of talent.

I don’t remember the guests on The Ed Sullivan show that well, but, I will be OK
with my guesses.
I remember some, but, I was born in November of 1957, so ………,., whatever.
It was a REALLY BIG SHOW !
