Did these events happen in 1972 or not?
A lot happened 49 years ago.
The early 1970s were trying times. Although the turbulence of the 1960s was dying down, the chaos of Vietnam and the Watergate scandal was just ramping up.
Amidst all the disarray, there were some memorable pop culture moments. Television was becoming more diverse, movie ratings allowed for the deconstruction of censorship in film, and music was becoming more experimental.
Do you remember if these pop culture events took place then? Good luck!

You got 10 out of 12 correct
You either have a sharp memory - or you know a lot about history! Nice job!
Missed HBO (I got it confused with when ESPN began) and Fleetwood Mac, I know that the band began in the 60s as a Blues band and as Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac but I though that their eponymous album had come out earlier than when it did because Rumours was released in 1976.

9/12. Not bad, since I was an infant at the time (born Jan 23 of that year).
