Did these events occur in 1986?

Did you party like it was 1999 in 1986?

Isn't it funny how in some cases, you can remember exactly what you were doing when some of the biggest events happened, but you can't seem to remember what year it happened in? You got 10 out of 10.

Metallica may be "Master of Puppets", but Jim Henson was first.

Well, that was disappointing.
Not disappointing, at all.
Raising a family, and working, during the 80s, was worth more than failing any 80s quiz.

6/10. Not bad for not being able to care less about most of these.

Sad to say I missed two of these things that happened the year I turned 18. However, one of the two was the Metallica album release. I wasn’t a fan, so don’t really feel bad about not remembering that one.

I didn't do very well on this one, but I watch an Australian television program called Prisoner and the prisoners were watching Fraggle Rock on the television in one episode from 1983. So I knew it was right.

9 out of 10, but I guessed on two of the albums.

7/10, mostly guessed. I had forgotten about 'Hands Across America'. And rightfully so.

7/10 as well.
Hands Across America was a benefit event and publicity campaign staged on Sunday, May 25, 1986 in which approximately 6.5 million people held hands in a human chain for fifteen minutes along a path across the contiguous United States; the proceeds were donated to local charities to fight hunger and homelessness and help those in poverty. I remember it.

Yes, McDonald's tried to go Asian and it was the second most offensive Oriental stereotype of the '80's after Long Duk Dong [GONG!].
I don't remember this.

And there was joke that India's version of Hands Across America was called Connect The Dots. ♣

I know that "Fraggle Rock" debuted in 1983 and not in '86, but I picked "Yes" instead of "No" by mistake, and that's why my score is 9/10 instead of 100%.
