Time to decide: Is ''The Nightmare Before Christmas'' a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie?
One of the best parts about Halloween is getting cozy on the couch and enjoying all of your favorite Halloween movies. But what exactly makes a movie a "Halloween movie?" Is it the ability to strike fear deep into the heart of the viewer, is it the chilly autumnal and generally creepy atmosphere, or is it just sheer luck that the film premiered in October?
Whatever the case, we're letting you be the judge this October. We'll give you a movie, and you tell us if you feel it's earned prestigious "Halloween movie" status.

You are 57% similar. I consider ET a Halloween movie because it happens at Halloween. I could also go with Mary Poppins, isn't she a witch?

Just want to say that regardless if they are considered Halloween movies or not, I love Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, and Ghostbusters!

Have only seen E.T., Fri. the 13th, Halloween, & Ghostbusters so I had to (bat)wing it on the others.

A few comments: 2 is not a Halloween movie because Halloween is the 31st not the 13th! 5 is only a Halloween movie by the fact that Drew dresses ET to go trick or treating!
