6/10 guessing mostly. I don’t recognize many of those. 70’s was supposed to be my sweet spot. 😩 🤷♂️ 🪲🎸
Great quiz. Good balance of challenging and obscure.
Never heard of the Black Superman song and would never have remembered Bazuka did the Dynomite novelty tune.
Wonder where they are now?? 🤔
Meh, maybe not.

10/10... and the "old man of oldies" does it again! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
On a serious note, Jesse Colin Young of The Youngbloods passed the other day. The group was famous for the hit "Get Together". Ironically, the record was a pretty much a flop when first released, but it was discovered and used for a public service announcement and that breathed new life into the song...
Here's a bit about the song's background from Wikipedia:
Original recording history
The song was originally written and recorded as "Let's Get Together" by Chet Powers under the stage name Dino Valenti as early as 1963, but was not officially released until 1996 on the compilation album Someone to Love: The Birth of the San Francisco Sound on UK label Big Beat Records. The very first release of the song was an instrumental by the Folkswingers on their 1963 album 12 String Guitar! Vol. 2. A live vocal performance by the Kingston Trio in March 1964 was released on June 1, 1964 on their album Back in Town. While it was not released as a single, this version was the first to bring the song to the attention of the general public. The Kingston Trio often performed it live.
The Youngbloods version
"Get Together"
The most notable recording of "Let's Get Together" came in 1967, when The Youngbloods released their version under the title "Get Together", from their eponymous debut album. Initially released as a single in July 1967, it became a minor Hot 100 hit for them, peaking at No. 62 and reaching No. 37 on the US Adult Contemporary chart. However, renewed interest in the Youngbloods' version came when it was used in a radio public service announcement as a call for brotherhood by the National Conference of Christians and Jews. It was subsequently re-released in 1969, and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was their only top 40 hit on that chart.

10/10, although several were guesses. I was 12 in 1975, but some of them I don't remember.
7/10. I vaguely remember some of these songs but not who sang them. I was only sure of 5, 7 and 10. (Liked 5 and 7, but not 10.)
8/10.
Cool music.
Back in the 70s a radio station used to have a contest like BINGO. it was called Music Means Money.
Every week mom would go to the store that had the cards, then I'd sit there and listen for the song, put a marker on it.
When you had a BINGO if you were the lucky caller, you'd win the prize.
Unfortunately. Never won.
But the memory is priceless. Me, mom, and Sis listening to cool music trying to win a prize.
I think the memory is more priceless than the prize as I'll always have that. The prize would have been gone by now.

5/10 yikes! worst ever on a music quiz
7/10 mostly guesses. How's this for coincidence...the ones I knew were #7 and 10...just like my score 7/10. 😄
I got the same score, but remembered one more. "Do the hustle!" I can still remember an older cousin teaching several of my cousins, my brother and myself to hustle in her backyard, while listening to the song. ☺️
It was. It was a line dance. I think someone took pictures or shot us with a movie camera. I imagine that's long gone. Would be fun to see it. 😄
