Many sitcoms from the mid-'80s to the early '90s learned a thing or two from Cheers. Eleven seasons, 275 episodes and a shift from several sitcom "Norms," (see what we did there?) saw Cheers receive 28 Emmys and six Golden Globes with plenty more nominations.

I liked the show but, I never cared for the Diane character. She always seemed like a stuck up, whiney, snob to me.
Mistake: Sam says he gave up drinking, but in one scene he's standing in the background and drinking a glass of beer.
It was fun watching the episodes of "Cheers" MeTV chose for their Sunday Block Party Promo yesterday.
This is one (1) show that would be nice if MeTV decided to add it back to their program schedule.

Let sleeping dogs lie. It was good, don't get me wrong but IMHO there are better shows to bring back.
