Saddle up!

Everett Collection
Hop on that horse and mosey on down, because we're fixing to quiz you on some cowboy lingo! We'll give you some words or phrases that were either used by real or fictional cowboys, and you've got to decipher them for us!

-
Let's try an easy one. If someone says "Howdy," what are they saying?
-
If someone is "above snakes," what does that mean?
-
What's a varmint?
-
If you're drinking "Adam's Ale," what are you sipping on?
-
If someone offered you something to "wet your whistle," what are they offering you?
-
If you're "full as a tick," how are you feeling?
-
If you call someone a tenderfoot, what are you actually saying?
-
If you've got to skedaddle, what are you doing?
-
Which of these people would be considered a "yellow belly"?
-
If you're giving something "a lick and a promise," what are you doing?

Well, if you watch MeTV+, they have a show called Sugarfoot! Believe it or not, it's about a cowboy lawyer!
Will Hutchins. I still can recall the theme song (1957-61) from 64 years ago!
Cheyenne, Bronco, Lawman--know that theme song, Maverick--that theme song is one of the finest of any series, and I know every word, Zorro, and The Lone Ranger--William Tell Overture by Rossini! Westerns were my favorite series growing up in the late-'50s and early-'60s, with "Zorro" a Western-type with Guy Williams the hero!
