12/14, I just downloaded this song last year. For the longest time, I used to think the first line was "I was sitting in the lab". I would have at least gotten that right if that was part of a question.

The correct lyric is "Tell them Boris sent you". The writer/singer was Bobby "Boris" Pickett.
Yep, anyone of my age knew Pickett was imitating Boris Karloff! "Monster Mash Good!!"
