How well do you remember Blazing Saddles?

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

One of the funniest, most irreverent comedies in the '70s has got to be Blazing Saddles.

Simply put, they just don't make 'em like this anymore! The movie is frequently cited as one of those "You'd never get away with that these days" pieces of media. So let's celebrate the laughs together by seeing how much we can all recall about one of the funniest films of all time.

How well do you remember Blazing Saddles? Do you count it among your Top Ten comedies? Be sure to share your score in the comments section below, and include how you'd rank it against some other funny movies, too!

  1. First, an easy one: Who directed Blazing Saddles?
  2. What is the name of the fictional town the story takes place in?
  3. Who play's the movie's protagonist, Sheriff Bart?
  4. How does Sheriff Bart deal with the crowd?
  5. What's the real name of the Waco Kid, played by Gene Wilder?
  6. Who plays Hedley Lamarr?

I like the deleted scenes. One of those is where Mongo goes in a water tank wearing an old deep-sea diving suit to look for sunken treasure. For more air deposit 25 cents.

I saw this flick a long time ago on A&E, and they blanked every instance of that word,(you know which word I mean). If you do that there might as well be no movie. 9 out of 10.

8/10. My dad took my mom to see this in the theater when they were still dating. My mom wasn't too keen on westerns, and my dad said "just trust me." My mom loved it.
