I didn’t have a clue what this song was, then listened and ooohhh yeah, that tune!

6/10. For those who find themselves with two identical comments. That happens when a link gets really long and it sort of folds over and duplicates itself. For instance when many get into a reply with one another it will happen. You need not delete it.
This MeTV comment section leaves a lot to be desired. I noticed my original comment was duplicated so I deleted one of them and both got deleted. Uggh! Anyway I scored 5/10, these were before I was born. Lol ☺️. I guess that will teach me to just leave the duplicate comment in and not try to delete it when I'm half asleep. Oh well.🙄
Now I noticed...the duplicate is back in...but the original one at the beginning of my chain of replies is still deleted. Uggh!🙄🤪
It certainly is.🙄 The next time any of my comments are duplicated, I'm not touching it with a 10 foot pole. Lol 😄
When the thread/link gets too long it will fold over into a duplicate. MeTv probably has a limit to a conversation and it reaches a certain point and it doubles🙄. You need not delete it 🙃 and go 🤪

Me, too. I was only 3 years old in 1965, but remember when my folks would listen to either WXYZ-AM or CKLW in Detroit on their big console stereo and those stations played these songs.
By the way: have the CD of #5 ("Getz/Gilberto") which has the long version of "The Girl from Ipanema" on it, and I once had a vinyl copy of #7, which had "It's Growing" on it; Motown did release that song as a single, but I'm not sure if it made the Billboard Top 40 Pop chart.
Now I have "It's Growing" on the Temptations' greatest hits CD (the one that had the blue cover for the vinyl pressing).
