I'm 99% sure ABC's 1979 Friday night schedule was the Friday movie at 9PM (I remember because that's where/when I first saw "Taxi Driver"), and Fantasy Island was Saturday night.

I’m probably too young to remember but a few of these shows I don’t remember being on at the times listed... did Fantasy Island move from Friday to Saturday? I thought Diffrent Strokes was on Saturday. I thought Laverne and Shirley was on after Happy Days on Tuesday nights.
