For question #4, I hate Starbucks and I wish to take a big pass on Dunkin' Donuts. My coffee of choice comes from Tim Hortons. I wonder if that will affect who I will get to have coffee with on this quiz!
"You're drinking coffee with Rob Petrie from the Dick Van Dyke Show"
Great, no doubt he will want me to help out again at this year's PTA Talent Show at Little
Richie's school. I hope we won't be reprising that dancing Chimney Sweeps routine again,
Rob's Cockney accent is terrible, nobody would buy it if he tried it on in a London set
movie.

I get to have a cup with Dick Van Dyke this morning. I hope he doesn't trip over an ottoman and spill coffee in my lap.😮

Hi Doc,
The last year of the series firmly established the Clampetts hail from the southern Missouri
border region. The producers by then had made the awful decision to make "Shorty" the
focus of many episodes, when he was strictly a 4th banana.
Many episodes were set in Silver Dollar City(a Ozarks "Williamsburg"), and it's fun to see
actual tourists inter-acting with the cast, as if the town were real.
But Shorty makes going thru many of these episodes a tedious slog.
I wonder if Ebsen already knew the series was doomed and didn't mind having Shorty
pick up much of the acting load.
Does anyone know more about what happened the last year? By the way, and I forget the
details, this season also established Petticoat Junction/Hooterville were there, per their
already established story lines. I really should sit thru the last season again, but I can't
stand the whole Shorty disaster. Like I say though, watch closely the tourists milling about in the
background, how they react to the stars in Silver Dollar City, it will give you smiles as it
obviously isn't staged.

I'm having coffee with Rob and Laura Petrie.
I wouldn't be shocked if they had a big coffee sponsor, and had ads with Rob and Laura
drinking Sanka.
The Clampetts - Jethro - were constantly eating Kellogg's Corn Flakes, then commercials
came on with Jethro eating a huge bowl, "hey kids eat Corn Flakes and you will grow up big
and strong like Jethro." And being in the 6th grade when you are 21.
