Where in America are they driving in these TV show opening credits?

Road trip!

Road trip! Long holiday weekends are the perfect time for families to pile in a car and hit the highway. When you're planning your next vacation, perhaps look for ideas in the opening credits of classic TV shows.

The following opening credits took place all over this great land of ours. Characters were motoring in the Midwest, wagoning in the West, eating up the pavement in the East, shuffling along in the South.

See if you can place all of these cars correctly on a map. Good luck!

  1. Where is this fellow rumbling on his bike?
  2. Where is this taxi crossing a bridge?
  3. Where is this family crossing a bridge?
  4. Where is Ms. Richards motoring down a highway?
  5. Where is this Ferrari peeling out?
  6. How about this Ferrari?
  7. Where is this Jeep driving?
  8. Where are these couples cruising?
  9. Those credits aren't getting in the way — they are a clue.
  10. Oh, no! Someone needs a tow! Where is this station wagon?
  11. In which rustic countryside is this car driving?

11/11

I enjoy the opening of "Newhart" & that pleasant song playing with it....at the beginning where they show a man in a boat heading full speed into what looks like trees, I always ask "Where is that guy going?!?"

MikeyBoyfromJersey should score 11/11 cuz he's been everywhere, man, he's been everywhere🎶....🗺️🌏🧭🚗😄

I would love to know where they're driving in the opening credit of Who's The Boss, with the beautiful autumn scenery. I'm guessing Connecticut, Vermont or Upstate New York.

7/11. I had no idea on any except Magnum. I don't pay attention to their cars.

Missed the one show I have never, ever seen -- Jimmy Walker's. (Don't even know the name of the show.)

11: Although this shot was used in the opening of "Newhart" it was actually filmed for the movie "On Golden Pond" and was shot in New Hampshire.

You cruised right through that! Nothing like piling in a car with some old friends.

11/11. Almost had to guess on Full House until I saw the golden cables of the famous bridge.

10/11 not too shabby.
Missed the 70's show and forgot that it was Wisconsin, not Michigan. But overall knew them all but that one.
