Bookworm? I'm not on the same page with you there.
Certainly not a tapeworm. I never even heard of those till I was ten and my mom
who was a nurse came home from the hospital, shaken. She told me she was checking
on a sleeping patient, his mouth was open, something was hanging out over his lips
so she went to check lest he choked on whatever the object was.
It was a giant tapeworm, when they finally removed it, it was over 15 feet long and
the doctors estimated it could have been in there for 6, 7 or even more years.
Ick, every time I hear of any kind of worm I recall that story.
