I have 4 favorite TV Dads...Ward Cleaver from LITB, Andy Taylor from TAGS, Steve Douglas from MTS and Harold Everett from Nanny and the Professor. But if I had to pick one...Ward Cleaver....hands down! The BEST TV Dad.
Ward Cleaver, best TV dad ever. The episode where he waits for Beav in the garage to help him change out of Aunt Martha's short pants school outfit is just too much good Dad stuff.
Not only do I agree with you on TV Dads but that is my favorite LITB epiosde. When Beaver goes to shake Ward's hand and gives him a hug. "Gee, dad...your like one of the fellas". ""Why, Beaver....that's the nicest thing you ever said to me".
