Barney Fife, The Andy Griffith Show

Fife wasn’t consistently unfortunate, but he did have one pretty intense run-in with bad luck. In the season five episode “The Lucky Letter,” Barney receives a chain letter and breaks the chain to show Andy that he’s not superstitious. But his plan backfires, as he’s soon the subject of one unlucky event after another!
