Peter Breck said that he wasn't ''really looking into'' starring in a Big Valley reunion
"I would like to see if I can work in my old outfit again," said the actor.

Television reunions are typically seen as a guaranteed success. It's always bittersweet to say goodbye to a TV show we love, and it seems that fervent fans never give up hope they'll see their favorite characters on screen again someday.
During The Big Valley's original run from 1965 to 1969, fans felt like they were a part of the Barkley family. Be honest, wouldn't you jump at the opportunity to have Barbara Stanwyck as your mother?
While cast members still kept in touch after the series ended, there seemed to be little hope for an on-screen reunion. According to Peter Breck, who starred in the series as Nick Barkley, it wasn't for lack of trying.
During an interview with The Herald News, Breck revealed that a few variations of a possible Big Valley reunion had been pitched.
"There's still a story to be had there," said the actor. "And they have so many different scripts floating around, like one in which Jarrod is assassinated and the family comes together."
Despite these ideas, Breck wasn't especially interested in journeying down memory lane. "I'm not really looking into doing that. I would like to see if I can work in my old outfit again— if the gun belt fits, then I'll be all right."
However, Breck argued that while reunions were all well and good, nothing beat the real thing. "The one thing I felt that The Big Valley had, as did all the other things I did, was good writing," said Breck.
